What if the coated tongue is just from the acidity of the lemons all damn day in our mouth!HuhHuh

....and we are ALL just "falling for it" that: OH IT's GOTTA BE TOXINS escaping!?
:/

Does anyone have some kind of proof or ANYTHING more descriptive of WHY our tongue does thisHuh?

Shocked
omg u all:
look:
from what peter put up from a website:
http://beyondwellbeing.com/herbs/tongue-diagnosis.shtml

"A dirty white coating is the same as a light yellow coating. This indicates some low-grade heat in either your entire body such as a low grade fever or in your digestive system in particular. This could also be something as meaningless as having just drunk some tea or coffee. Or it could indicate some stagnation in your digestion such as what happens when you eat to much.

It could also indicate that your cold is becoming a flu or that you are developing a fever or that you like yellow colored candy."

Okay so of course we have low-grade heat in our body, cause we're fasting. and look it even says IN OUR DIgestive system.. Yea... we aren't digesting ~is why our tongues are like this. lol. i dont know guys. I am quitting on day 10!!!! i dont care if my tongue's not pink yet anymore!

what do you guys thinK!??

Our skin is the largest organ in our body. When we sweat, cleanse etc. the toxins pour out thru our skin. A great indicator of health is the coating or lack of it on our tongue. When I'm cleansing my tongue gets very coated and the color changes based on the cleanse (there are books that describe what each color means etc.) We want to move toward having our tongue be nice and pink like a baby's tongue.

Tongue cleaner: I use Dr. Tung's tongue cleaner and just love it. It's about $5.00 at
very special HFS (many do not carry Dr. Tung's products) or you order on internet along with Dr. Tung's ionic toothbrush (awesome product!) and only about $25.00.

My common sense says...we skin brush to help our body cleanse so I also clean my tongue
daily (several times a day when deep cleansing) to get rid of the toxins so more toxins can surface...same principle as skin brushing...
Helping the body get rid of crud...

So your tongue getting coated means you are getting rid of toxins!

i read this a few weeks ago. i actually did the little self diagnosis when i was on the fast. none of it phased me. of course my body temperature is low (i actually checked it daily thruout the cleanse and it was always 2 to 5 degrees below normal) but here's the thing - my body wasn't digesting, my metabolism slowed down and subsequently my body heat dropped. my digestion was working less none of those things were a surprise to me. it made perfect sense. Plus you weren't able to plug in your habits so this could be for people who are eating regularly and the diagnosis for people who are fasting could be completely different. and personally i'm glad it's "stagnation" in my digestion from NOT eating then from eating too much.

question tho - not everyone has a yellow tongue. some people had brown and green - what about them?
that's what makes me think it's a little more than low body heat and what this diagnosis had to say.

Either way, white tongue, green tongue or red tongue, this cleanse WORKS.

tongue scrapers:

I couldn't find a tongue scraper for the longest time... so I used a teaspoon to scrape the crud off my tongue.

its the crud on your tongue that is really causing bad breath so keep it clean.

Toxins are also eliminated through the lungs as well so if scraping your tongue doesn't help it could be coming from there.

acidity of lemons has been known to cause sensitive teeth in a lot of Cleansers. swish/rinse your mouth out after taking lemonade. or drink lemonade through a straw.
