Hey guys!

Just checking back in again.

So...I survived day one. Hooray! No major hiccups.

Though...I woke up early enough to give myself 2.5 hours before I had to leave for work to do the SWF. Unfortunately the flush took about 3 or 3.5 hours to take effect (instead of the 30-60 minutes I was warned about). I'm assuming it took so long to work it's way through as it was my first morning and I still had quite a bit of solid food left on my digestive tracks. Hopefully it won't take so long tomorrow. I'm just thankful there was no one in the washroom at work when it passed...might have been slightly embarrassing.

I also felt a little hungry and has some serious tummy-growls around 6 or 7pm but that seems to have faded now. I'm still not completely comfortable, but I don't feel like I'm STARVING either.

Here's hoping that tomorrow will also go fairly smoothly!

Morning Lemon Heads!

DAY 10 - yippeee!!! I wish I could go longer, but cannot this time. But I feel great. My aches and pains tell me I'm getting some nasty toxins out. I know there's always more. Next time I'll align my time so I can do a longer cleanse. I am down 10 pounds which feels great.

Deborah Sue: I'm with ya - we made it - woo hoo! I'm actually going to start transitioning to OJ around mid-day because of events I have this weekend. Great to do this cleanse right along with you! Hope you have a great post-cleanse experience and do your best to stay with healthy eating to continue the benefits!

Well, I'm off to yoga this morning and maybe a sauna. Ahhhh.

Keep it up everyone - our bodies are thanking us!

Sounds pretty normal Marsh. You've come to the place to "let it all out".
Good luck with the swf.

Yeah the love/hate with the cleanse. I hear ya. It's been long enough that I'm anxious to start my love/hate relationship. I may have recruited a few people for our Annual January cleanse. Not sure if I can hold out until then.

You know the ropes. Hang in there because this too shall pass. You're doing GREAT!

i have such a love/hate relationship with this cleanse. i love the freedom of not having to prepare, eat and clean up the mess from meals, and i love the results i get from cleansing. what is challenging are these days like today when i feel hungry and yukky. it will pass, i know. and in just a few more days (well, maybe a little more than a few) i'll be done and feeling great.

had so many thoughts of quitting earlier. but now i'm home from work and feel motivated to continue. thank god for this forum. it helps alot. and thanks to all of you lemonheads out there doing this with me!

slink-
don't worry about the warning label on your tea regarding not using it for longer than a week. these are different circumstances when you're cleansing. you'll be fine. i have to say though, i have never heard of that brand of tea- but i've read mention of someone else using it too.

"Attitude' is the key with the cleanse and you have a good one.

Yeah the flush can be pretty tricky. Just when you think you're done....
By the way, now is a good time to invest in stock for toilet paper.

Keep going you're doing great!

Afternoon,

Day 14 of 40, only 26 to go

I nearly gave up this morning, woke up with a pain on side of my head just behind my ear & suddenly felt very concerned that my body may not be happy about me not eating. I went swimming & sauna & feeling bit better. I only managed 2 drinks yesterday as was out all day & forgot to bring it so I guess maybe that's why.

My mum's giving me so much support as she see's improvements in me, others dont. I also got an email from some lemon detox site the other day to say how a 10 dayer is good for you but more is not.

Anyway, still a bit concious of tongue & breath, i actually went out on a date last night, a peppermint tea date lol as i'm on cleanse but i was worried breathing near him in case i had bad breath lol

on the upside I'm down 19lbs now

Hey I'm new here. I'm on day 3 of the lemonade part of the master cleanse (did 2 days before that of "easing in").

So far things have been going fine. Yesterday I had quite a few bad hunger pangs - I was dying for bad carby food like bread, pasta, pizza but that soon passed. My energy levels are pretty high though I do get periods when I feel a bit sluggish. My aim was to do 10 days but I'll see how I feel once I get there. I might want to go longer. Oh, some bad points for me so far: I had a constant headache on the first day, my face has got a bit greasy and I've got a few spots, and I also have a coated tongue and a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. My breath probably smells :/ I'm looking forward to that going away! Good points are I'm already feeling "cleaner", I'm sometimes craving healthy food like salad and I'm just generally feeling pretty good :-)

I'll probably post on here every day or so just for info and to also keep myself on track. Thanks for the cool site.
