I've read that people on this board feel that acne is the result of toxins releasing. Why do "traditional" doctors say that acne isn't a result of what we eat, but the bacteria, dirt, dead skin on our face?

What you eat effects your hormones. *Hormones effect the amount of oil produced in your skin. *If your pores are blocked with bacteria and dead skin cells, the oil gets clogged and the combination of the three clogged in your pores are what cause you to break out.

"Acne" is a general term. *All acne is not the same. *Some bumps during a detox are actually tiny little sores in the skin from toxins comming out. *Not necessarily the same thing we usually consider "acne." *Again, it's just a general term.
