I just started the MC today and just looked at my calander and realized that I have an appointment with an Endocrinologist in 4 more days (friday)
Does anyone know what this cleanse might do to any labwork he might want to do? I am going because I have no thyroid and have not been to an endocrinologist for about 3 years and need to have my levels checked to see if I need more synthroid. I didn't want anything like the sugar in the maple syrup to show up and make it appear that I am a diabetic or something!

Hi:
Ya know, I don't know if it will affect the blood test or not. I was cleansing when I had blood work done and then saw my Endochrinologist for the first time a few months ago. However my blood work came back in "amazing mode". By the way, I continue with my thyroid medicine when I cleanse. It's a choice I've made.

I told the doctor about the cleanse because she was impressed with my weight loss over the past year. She said she wanted to pass the MC info on to her patients who have tried to lose the weight but couldn't. She gave me her email address and I sent her MC info and this BB URL. She said she was going to try the cleanse too. I was really happy to hear someone in the medical field interested in doing it for themselves. Funny huh? :)

I hope this response helps and isn't too late!
