Here are the official January Master Cleanse statistics taken from bulletin board postings and people I personally know doing the cleanse anytime within the month of January:

2008 709
Yes, we slipped a little in 2008, but we had massive publicity in 2007: The NY Times, Beyonce, Us Weekly, CBS News, NBC Today Show, and Geraldo. For 2008, we only had Fox TV's The Morning Show. So, we should hit our 1000 person target in 2009. :)
