Hey all, didn;t mean to stun everyone with the "M" word, but I am indeed a Meat Eater. I will continue to eat meat at this point in my life with plane to eventually stop. I'm on day four and I'm doing fine, massivae cravings on day 2 but I have one heck of a will. Now The Thing Is!, I still look foward to ejoying meat once again.

I know that Burroughs and everyone suggest not to eat meat after the cleanse and, unfortunatly, there is absolutly no info on how to ease off the diet for meat eaters still interested in eating meat. I mean... folks... come on... I can't be the only one. So, has any meat eaters here found a good way of coming off, or are there any non meat eaters that know of a good way? Thanks everyone, and I promise, I will promote myself to a meatless diet one day. AND HEY, maybe even a raw one too KEEP GOING EVERYONE!

-LOVE IT!

The only info for meat eaters is just to break with the veggie soup. I say, eat it again when you're ready. Wait at least a few days after breaking the fast, make sure you're digesting everything else really good first. Start slow and small too. Even if you could devour a huge thing of bbq'd ribs or something before, it might be too much of a shock for your system now.

I recently did the cleanse for the full 10 days and I too am a meat eater. I did find, however, that my cravings for meat deteriorated significantly after completing the entire cleanse.

I used to think I needed 'meat' every meal in order to get all the protein I thought I needed. Since the cleanse and reading additional material on the subject, I have found I am getting all the meat I need by eating it 2 or 3 meals a week instead of 2 or 3 times a day.

My advice is just to ride it out and see how you feel. Even though I know meat isn't healthy for me, there sometimes is nothing better than a nice steak. It's ok to think this, just don't make it an every day occurance unless you want to do the MC every other month.
