Medication during the Cleanse diet

Hi Peter,

I have been preparing myself mentally for Master Cleanse Lemonde diet. The only question I have is : Can I still stay on birth control pill while on the diet?I know intsructions say no medication but this one is only hormones. I am not sure if I stay on it, then my detoxification process would not be to it's full potential. Let me know what you think?

I myself have long since past that point in my life.

Hopefully someone who has been in the same position will respond to this thread.

I would think it would be okay, but not sure.

I don't know anything about birthcontrol or how it works or anything..

But if you can skip it for a few days.... You probably won't be wanting any sex during those 10 days anyway. lol..

I wish there could be a phone number in the Master Cleanse Lemonade diet boock to call if we have any questions. I guess I can ask my doctor, but mostt of them they are very sceptical against not eating for 10 or 20 days.

I'm no expert on the cleanse, but if you go off birth control pills, you have to start the entire cycle over again and go on them at least 2 weeks before you are protected.. I'd stay on them.

I'm on three types of pharmacuticals and asked my doctor if it would be safe to stay on them while i cleanse and she said it would be fine.

I have also read that the birth control pill can inhibit the absorption of vitamins and minerals though so I suggest a multivitamin (not during the cleanse though).
