Hi
Am on day 1 of 1st fast with my daughter who has just arrived from England (to Australia) for a two week visit and we have some events planned in the second week.
We decided to do the fast for 5 days so that we could at least clean some stuff out of our colons and also so that she could get used to it so that when she returns to England she'll be able to fast at the change of seasons.
I know that the minimum days suggested are 10, but I thought that even 5 was better than nothing.
Does anyone have a helpful opinion on this.
Many thanks
Liorac

five is better than non, however you may find that you enjoy it and how it makes you feel and to venture on. Ten really is supposed to be the minimum.

I have however done a day here and there just to maintain.

The first couple of days, actually about three, I usually get a really intense headache and not wanting to have to go through having the headache more than I need to, I stay on at least the 10 days.

First cleanse I went 28 days and did not want to stop. I felt so wonderful and had so much energy. I also was afraid to come off and eat badly again.

I however managed to maintain and lost an aditional five pounds...

Since then I have cleansed two more times and feel wonderful. I have changed my train of thought and now eat to live rather than living to eat.... This cleanse has truly changed my life and my outlook on the future...

Best of luck to you both, and if at all possible do the cleanse for the whole ten days... it is well worth it...
Such a shame that our society is so food orientated... I never realized just how much until I did this cleanse...

Happy cleansing and enjoy the journey...
