I'm on the third day of my Master Cleanse, and I am concerned about my bicycle commute. We're a carfree family -- I'm the at-home-parent -- and I usually bike with my two kids, (on a Bike Friday triple), between twelve and thirty miles a day. Should I have enough energy on the master cleanse to get where I need to go, or will I end up stranded, far from home, with two cranky children and no energy? It's hilly around here too, so getting two kids on a heavy triple bicycle up and down the hills takes a lot out of me even on a good day.
Any other bike commuters in the Master Cleanse community.

Wow! :o This is an interesting post. Do you have a cell phone and taxi money? 8) ;)
Geez, I don't have an answer because it's Day 3 and I'm too tired to even walk today. Not sure about you and biking 2 kids 30 miles! You're amazing! :)
I'm not sure if there's a way to be able to predict your energy level, but looking at it pragmatically, if you do this all the time, most likely the shape you're in would enable you to continue the biking. Still, I don't know.
Let me know what you plan on doing. You might as well try it on Monday since today is the "Dreaded Day 3" and should be one of the worst. By tomorrow you should feel better if you're not doing well today. Some people continue their exercise routine without a problem. You might be one of them. However, keep that cell phone and cab fare handy. :)

I actually feel much better this afternoon. My eyes have not been bothering me, and the red color is receding. I have a little more energy than yesterday. The only problem is the asthma, which is keeping up, but not as severe.
Now my challenge is to keep with it. I have a bad habit of stopping whatever I'm doing whenever I start to feel better. The first three days were a breeze, but now I'm hungry with a vengeance. I even sampled a tiny taste of salsa I was making for my family's dinner. (It's hard to be on a fast when you're the family cook).
I'll try to keep it up though.
