HELLO everyone!!!

Firstly, a GREAT BIG THANK YOU to all of you who have given your time to post and share such helpful information and to Peter for this wonderful site! I couldn't have made my first 10 day fast without you. BTW my tongue was almost all pink on day 10! So I would like to do it again and see how quick it will go pink.

I have one question that I haven't found addressed in any of the many many posts I have read. I am a guzzler. I pound down the lax. tea in about 15 seconds. I throw down the SWF in 2 glasses but usually down each glass without a breath until after the glass is empty. My cayenne is taken quickly from a shotglass. (I got that hint from here too) I ALSO drink the lemonade and maple with very little water and consume it ALL within 5 minutes.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS FAST BUT HATE THE FLAVORS.

Does anyone else take the lemonade in one sitting like me? and how did/does it affect your fast if at all? Is it possible for the body to absorb the nutrients if I drink it fast?
I was thinking that this is Okay since I most of my life I have eaten just one large meal a day and I have had no dizziness while my fast and have BM's everyday.

I would love to do another 10 or even 20 days. But I really don't think I can.. SIP... SIP... SIP... this maple lemonade! ANY input and/or thoughts on this matter is greatly appreciated.

THANK YOU ALL!
PEACE and HUGS~

Hey Trish. Don't worry, you're doing almost everything right. :)

1. The faster you down the SWF, the faster it seems to come out anyway which is good.

2. I also hate the taste of the lax tea and down it within a few seconds while holding my breath. It's disgusting. I also "guzzle" about 10oz of water afterwards to kill some of the aftertaste.

3. You should use the full 8oz of water in the lemonade. Like Peter even says, best to stick to the exact formula and instructions.

I actually down my lemonade in about a minute. I don't see how there'd be anything wrong with gulping that down. Once air hits juices, the enzymes and nutrients start dying anyway. On juicing sites they always say to down the juice as fast as possible.

Have you tried different brands of maple syrup? I used to love the lemonade untill recently when I bought a new brand of maple. It's disgusting.

I use the maple syrup in the lemonade, but last night I added molasses to my tea, and it tasted wonderful....you oughta try it!!

Thank you Neil and ItsMyLife, NEIL~I really don't care much for molasses but, never know it just might taste alright in the lemonade so I will give it a swing or should I say...a swig. ItsMyLife~ I was afraid I was pushing the button a bit too much! Darn. It sure is much easier for me to just 'get it over with'. I will try your suggestion of changing maple syrup brands too.
I had originally started my fast with a juicer that was a real pain to clean. I ended up recently just getting the standard $4.00 "elbow grease" juicer. Its so much easier to wash and might make it easier to spread out my fresh squeezed lemonades to say 3 times a day? and in the proper ratios of water and lemonade and that OTHER stuff. hehehe. My friends and family keep asking me about the fast and I told them I will do it once more and then give them my opinion. I am their personal pioneer/guinea pig, so to speak. hehehe.
...cheers to our health!
Thanks a bunch,
~Trish
ps. Has anyone skipped the salt water and just did the lax tea only option? say for every other fast? What did you notice in terms of "output" That darn salt water doesnt get much easier, I think the 10th day, even when warmed a little more, was just as hard to get down as it was on the first.

I have not done the sea salt flush on a regular bases. I have a demanding job. I drink the laxative tea in the am and pm. I did the sea salt flush on the mornings I am at home. I find I can't drink 6 glasses now. I am just not that hungry as I was at first. I feel good though.

I am on day 11 and going for 14. I feel great but i am looking forward to the Organic Orange juice days and some nice hot vegetable soup.

JNT7 congrats on your 11+ days of fasting! it really is worth it when you can honestly say that you feel GOOD!! I couldnt wait til my *reward* of OJ! I was worried about the adjustment back to eating solids but I slid back into eating pretty good with some potato and celery/onion soup on the second day.

I am getting anxious to get back on the fast. ASAP. Does anyone know of how long one should wait in between fasts?? if at all??

I am a chugger, too...at least with the SWF and water. I find that the SWF goes down best with warm water--I can get it down in under 3 minutes...and then, yes! It comes up quicker on the other end. The tea I use has pepermint in it, too...so it is a good sipping tea...and I sometimes add a little maple syrup, too.
The lemonades, for me, are best warm, too. Initially, when reading the book, I thought warm lemonade sounded gross, but I have found that this lemonade cold is gross. I think because of the cayenne. I found that the colder the water, the more the cayenne burns my lips...and I am using about twice the usually amount of cayenne. I am a runner and wanted to make sure I am getting enough potassium from the cayenne.
