My wife and I are on day 5 of the cleanse. It's going great and we are determined to complete the ten days! However, she has had a bit more trouble than I. She does eat meat normally and has been (and continues to be) on several medications for her very bad allergies. She's had the "heat" thing in her eliminations and has suffered to a greater degree from headaches, etc.

Anyway today she has developed a rash on her stomach that has flared up elsewhere as well. Is this a symptom of detox that you've heard of before? Should we be worried? Could this be a result of all the meds she's been on for the last four years.

Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated.

I got a rash on my hands and wrist. After a lot of reasearch I found that it was a reaction from the lime juice and then sun exposure. It is called phytophotodermatitis. I am so sure it is this because while I was on the clense I went tanning (mostely for a nap) and had a hair rubberband on my wrist. There is a distinct line with no redness the size of a hair band right in the middle of the rash. I have had it now for a few days and I'm not sure of any remedys but I'm glad that this is all it is. Hope that helps!

the sun and lime rash is different from the bumps rash. My husband had the limes and sun rash and it is just like purple or discolored spots but they have nothing to do with with this fast. The type of rash I have is on my chin and lower cheeks like little sand paper patches. will this go away
