I have been experiencing joint pain in my hips and SI joint. I have had problems with my lower back and SI being off for a long time, so this is not entirely new.

My hips though - that's different, and the pain is different. It's like this ache that sits there for a minute and then radiates out like electrical pingers pulsing for a few minutes. Then it subsides - thank god. Usually just when the pain really gets to me, it subsides for awhile.

I'm assuming this is a detox symptom...but considering my back pain history with my SI needing correction (therapy, exercises I use to align my pelvis)...I'm not sure.

Thoughts?

Interesting. I just noticed that my pains are almost completely gone, only 4 days into the MC. One set is in my joints when I wake up and walk up stairs, and the other is/was either in my big toe joint, or inside the toe. All the pain is gone.

HI All! I am on day 6 ~ WOO HOO of a 10 day and I started with some swollen joints in three of my fingers...people called it arthritis and I just really thought it was calcium stored in the fingers because it had nowhere else to go! I was sure the MC would take of it or at least lessen the bulge but after six days on the MC, they are the same with the same pain. Will the MC clear the bulging joints? Anyone know?

skinny: lets wait and see since no one chimed in here. I wouldn't be surprised if it did help. Lots of body aches and pains melted away for me. :) The cleanse works *magic*

Let us know what happens.

Love,

I was experiencing joint challenges (all joints but very noticeable in the finger joints to me). While doing a MC the inflammation went down substantially and my joints stopped feeling really sore. Then i began eating a raw foods diet and the inflammation and pain in all of my joints has lessened tremendously. I am more active with increased range of motion than I was before and the bottom of my feet don't hurt upon waking and walking to the bathroom in the morning.

I really think major improvements can be made, it just may take some time depending on how long you've been suffering from these symptoms of inflammation. I didn't realize I had been experiencing inflammation 'til years after it started. A predominantly raw foods diet and jump starting with the MC will really help you, in my opinion, of course.

A lot of doctors and holistic practitioners agree that foods in the nightshade family aggravate and may cause inflammation. I agree to a certain degree, but the really interesting thing is that when I do the MC I still do the cayenne pepper and the cayenne pepper doesn't make the inflammation worse. It seems to help.
