I am on day 4 (sortve... I had breakfast on wednsday then had the correct amount of lemonade and tea after that... is that considered half a day?) and for the first two days I used organic, fresh-squeezed-but pastuerized lemon juice that i got from a health food store. A post on another board let me know that was a no-no so as of yesterday, day 3, I am using fresh lemons and limes. Tastes better for sure... but do the first two days not count? This is nerve-racking as I don't want to be on day 2 after all that pain... anyone think i'm ok to consider myself on day 4?
P.S. The other post said that the enzymes die during pastuerization... is that all?

you're still fasting.
you know? I mean, your digestive system should still be resting. you weren't eating solids.
I know it's ideal to use fresh and you should but I wouldn't feel like you have to start all over again. you're on the day you're on.
that's my opinion.

^ yep what he/she said... OK so you didn't get all the nutrients you should have... as long as you aren't going to do this cleanse for 50 days you should be fine.
I've lived 2 days of a 14 day cleanse on only water. And I'm still alive... (I think... ::) its 'I think therefore I am' right) So you are fine! ;D
Now.... when you said you had breakfast..... what did you mean by that? I've been known to do try a lot of different/funky things with my cleanse but eating has always been a no-no!

HI There,
I did my entire cleanse with the bottled Santa Cruz organic lime and lemon juice and had extraordinary results. I was clear headed, felt whole, and never looked better.
I do not believe that there is any thing is wrong with using this. Plus it is economical and sure does speed up the prep. I was living in New York City at the time so any extra time was very much appreciated.

Hi Richard - I am not familiar with Santa Cruz organic juice. If it is whole, fresh sqeezed and not pasturized or from concentrate, then it's probably okay to use. If it is a pasturized juice or made from concentrate (something akin to ReaLemon) then it has vitually no nutrients, and if someone isn't generally robust and healthy, or has some serious health issues it could be detrimental, or at the very least, thwart or minimize the positive effects that would have been achieved from the MC if fresh lemons/limes had been used.
