Can one benefit from doing the Master Cleanse for 2 days? Is there any benefit at all from only doing 2 or 3 days of the Master Cleanse?? Anything??

So happy you posted this. I'm only able to fit in a 3 day fast. On the fourth day I have dinner plans that can't be altered. The next week is similar with work networking events.
Also, since concerned about what to eat at these events after a fast. Would a veggie or chicken noodle soup or plain salad be okay or would you expect even that would cause the upset stomach feeling.
Made the mistake on day one of using chili powder instead of cayanne pepper. Bummed. Feel I wasted a prescious day. On to cayanne today. Peeing through my butt. Haven't felt hungry and the surgar from the mapel syrup is yummy. I normally limit my sugar intake.
Thanks

I think even a one day fast is beneficial. I read in a juice fasting book that if you fast every Monday, that it is equal to 52 days of fasting. I have done one 10 day MC and several 3 or 4 day "kick" starts when I feel like I am slipping into my old bad habits.

I am into my 10th day and I don't really feel much different. I had a rough first day, then after that it has been rather easy. I have been doing senna tea morning and night because the salt water would make me vommit. I would have several eliminations each day, but after day 6 they were much of nothing, mostly liquid with some silt. My tounge never really got very coated, but it still has a mild yellow tint. I made it this far and wonder if I should keep going because my tounge hasn't turned pink. I told myself when I started that 10 days would be enough. I have to travel in 5 days and need to get back to regular food, because it will be hard to maintain this diet on the road. I have been able to drink three quarts of lemon tea each day with ease...and i like it spicy 1/2 teaspoon per quart. I am wondering if I have recived any benefits from what i have done, or do I have to go further to really benefit? I don't want to give up too early, even though I can't wait to go have some sushi next week.I don't think i was in that bad of shape to begin with.
I will be satisfied if I know that I am better off than I was.
What do ya'll think......?
and thanks in advance for the advice........

don't want to be the downer (or the odd woman out) but i don't think theres much point to doing this particular cleanse for less than ten days. i guess its a healthy thing to replace meals, but in terms of loosening and eliminating toxins, the first few days are just not enough for it to be effective. i don't know, thats just my take on it. i always wait for a time to start when i know i won't be travelling or having special dinners because that makes it so hard to resist. but if you feel like a day, or few days works for you, thats awesome.

YES there is huge benefit.
in fact, I have a person I get advice from who owns a natural food store in NYC. He's assisted hundreds of fasts. (really knows his stuff) I was beating myself up for only having done a 5 day fast and he told me that everyone's bodies are different and that even a day is great, as long as you do it right.
I had huge changes in my appearance from that first 5 days, I lost a few pounds, my skin looked great, I felt good. I did it again the following two months, just the same and each time I felt I had a deeper detox.
I'm on day one of my 4th MC. today's been hard for me, tomorrow is my son's birthday, there will be cake and good food, but I'm ok not to partake in that aspect of the celebration.
sometimes, you don't have a huge block of time without commitments or LIFE! I will most likely make this another short MC because I'm travelling towards the end of this week. some people can travel and stay on it, I really don't want to because I have a little child travelling with me and I don't want to be tired, pooping, and carrying all our crap PLUS all my lemons, maple syrup and mixing things.....I think that's individual, what your situation is....
so, if you can work in a few days and then go off, but go off correctly, I think that's much better than not doing it at all.
see how your body feels.

I just finished my second 5-day cleanse and I have had great results. Different issues (some "female" issues) have cleared up and have not returned (I waited three months to do it again). The weight i lost the first time stayed off, indicating to me that those were true toxins that my body released. I am waiting a week then I am going to attempt my first full length cleanse, and I will be incorporating exercise this time (I think I am ready to take that leap). You have to know yourself and listen to your body. My body and mind are telling me that I am ready for a full cleanse. I totally agree with the last post. I hope this helps!

Hi , to anybody on this site. Today is day 7 for me and this cleanse has not been easy for me.
The first three days I felt great lots of energy and for the past 3 days I have had a cold. I feel run down, and ache all over.Lots of sinus pressure? I know that some congestion can be normal but I thought the cleanse is suppose to ward off and heal sickness?
I had dreams of eating a cinnamon roll last night with butter on it(I don't eat dairy) kinda funny. I have been staying pretty active, and have taken a couple of epson salt baths.
I am trying to stay focused and not give in to the idea that some soup will make my cold go away...and stick with the cleanse...
Holdin on
