Can I bore you with my story? Twenty years ago I had a number of symptoms which were making my life miserable. My enlightened G.P. sent me to the allergy clinic at Hythe. As a result I’m no longer bothered, for the most part, by allergies, although I can’t go past the local coffee shop without holding my breath. When I stopped drinking coffee my problems vanished.
So – when the hot chocolate I’d ordered a fortnight ago turned out to be coffee (I know, but it had lots of froth and chocolate powder on top) – it was only a sip but the instant flu I experienced told me immediately what had happened. Since then I’ve been paying for my carelessness. So I thought I’d try part of the original allergy treatment i.e. fasting for five days - only your lemonade diet seems a lot kinder.
I’m now on day five and feeling so much better. I’ll certainly go on to finish it.
However, there is one problem. I’ve lost six pounds and there’s still two days to go before the Weightwatchers meeting. How do I explain my dramatic weight loss? I sure haven’t followed their prescribed diet!
Has anyone else had this problem?

LOL I know exactly what you're talking about! Really the thing is, with WWatchers, they love it when you lose, so all you have to say is "yeah isn't it amazing? what a great loss week.. the Whoosh Fairy came..." haha We've had people who have lost 10 pounds in a week on WW too, so really it's not as big a deal as it sounds. Just act excited and surprised haha they'll be happy for you :D Good job! I"m on Day 6 and have lost 9 pounds, so it's wonderful, isn't it? :D

I have struggled since high school with my weight and the Lemon Cleanse works like magic.I am on day 21 and won't stop till i get hungry.Have lost 17 lbs. I am wearing old clothes not able to wear for years. This is my second lemon clanse. The first lasting 7 1/2 days. Somehow this one is much easier.I was inspired by the Robin Quivers story. I plan to stay on the lemon drink afer starting to eat food.Has anyone had trouble with the lemons on thier teeth?

Hi Belinda,

Some people develop a sensitivity in their teeth during the cleanse. I believe it is due to a lack of alkalizing minerals (calcium). If it's not so bad you have to stop, finish the cleanse and get Victoria Boutenko's book "Green For Life" from the Web Store http://123webmagic.com/themastercleanse/catalog/ and start drinking green smoothies. The greens are a great source of calcium that is easy for the body to use.

the person who introduced me to this cleanse went to his dentist after he finished his 3rd cleanse, his dentist was appalled at the condition of his teeth .
The dentist told him the lemon juice works like a file on the enamel of teeth .
He was told to make sure u rinse ur mouth or brush ur teeth right after consuming the lemonade

Was wondering if anyone else has recieved any other information on this

yes, actually this is covered in many threads, including the general help for newbies thread.

it's recommended to have a glass of water in between every glass of lemonade.
and drink your lemonade thru a straw.

I talked to my dad about this - he works in the dental industry. Make sure you rinse your mouth thoroughly before touching your teeth - that goes for any acidic food. If you brush your teeth after an acidic meal, it's like 'etching' your teeth. So rinse rinse rinse!

So are you saying not to brush? Or just to rinse beforehand?

Definately brush but just make sure you rinse very very thouroughly before-hand. Or make a point of finishing your lemonade an hour or two before you brush, and during that time drink lots of water.
