I am on day 5 and I must admit, this cleanse has been very difficult for me. I have led a pretty unhealthy lifestyle up until now, with little exercise and very bad food choices. Pizza, ice cream etc. I have recently upped my level of exercise and decided to adopt a vegetarian lifestyle. I thought the MC would be a great place to start, cleansing my body and preparing it for a healthier way of life. Starting with a clean slate, so to speak.

However, I have been struggling through this cleanse. I have been experiencing migrains, weakness and severe dizzy spells. I also have acid reflux, so I have been having some issues with heartburn. Yesterday was by far the hardest day, I had an emotional breakdown and almost ate a big lunch. I chalked it up to mood swings, due to the circulating toxin/poisons in my blood and took a nap instead. I woke up feeling better but still so hungry. I tried drinking more Lemonaid but it doesnt seem to cure my urge to eat.

This morning I felt so dizzy that I could barely walk and I ATE a granola bar!!! *OH GOD! I felt awful, like I was cheating myself! My question is, Have I ruined my cleanse completely or can I continue on as usual??? I hope that I am able to continue, despite my symptoms, it's working! I have lost 10lbs and I have faith that the symptoms will slowly disappear.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Hi Brooke,

Just keep on going girl. It's ok! ;D You only have 5 more days to go. Make SURE you're drinking enough Lemonade and lots of WATER. The lemonade isn't replacing the water.

Stay away from THE FOOD CHANNEL or anything similar, like cookbooks and proceed straight ahead. ;) You'll be fine.

I hope this helps.

Love,
~Res

oh dear you are going to LAUGH at the flakiness that is me.

on day 6, today, my coworker that is doing this with me was over it (she is very small and didn't like seeing her ribs) so she got a large jamba orange-banana. she was like "i'm over this i need to eat some FOOD!"

so i was like, well i'll stop too. i know i can do it i'll just do it again later. now after my [not so yummy] LARGE orange-banana jamba juice i feel like a jackass and just want to continue what i was doing.

has this happened to anyone? after ALL i went through doing it more than halfway and just give in because the person i'm doing it with did...

is it too late to continue now? what can i do to reverse this or make it better?

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!

It'll be okay. Just get back on the cleanse. If you can, try going for a whole 10 days straight (starting with today as day one) because I think you can get the best benefits when you let your digestive system completely take a break and focus on elminating toxins.

I can totally sympathize with the terrible feeling of prematurely stopping the cleanse and wishing you hadn't. The only way to fix anything is just to get back at it. Hope this helps! Good luck!
