Does the MC cure Candida or just not effect it?

I'm new to this board, so I'm not sure if your question has been answered elsewhere on this forum.

I did the cleanse last year for 5 days and it wiped out my candida issues for 4 months - but I went back to eating the way I was before, sugar and processed refined grains, so it's gotten out of hand again.

I believe it does cure Candida. I was told, and had read, that the maple was a big No No for someone with candida - I had a yeast infection when I started the cleanse and it went away about day 2. I kinda rationalized that if the maple was going to feed the yeast, then the salt water flush would kill it. Not sure if that was the case, but I definitely was free from it for some time.
