I noticed that a lot of raw recipies include honey. What are some good substitutions to use instead (since the MC book says you should never eat honey), and do you use the substitute in the same measurement?

Steps up on Soapbox:

RAW AGAVE NECTAR (http://www.sweetcactusfarms.com/products.htm)! :D It's fantastic. It doesn't have a "flavor" necessarily as maple and honey do. It's just sweet and it's low on the Glycemic Index so it's safe for Diabetics.

I use this instead of sugar, maple, honey. I take a small squeeze tube with me if I'm going out. You can pick up a bottle at most health food stores. Unfortunately it's not in grocery stores as yet.

Steps down from Soapbox. ;)
