I tried the Master Cleanse once before I became 100% raw, and it was a great experience. However, after being raw for several months, I decided to try it again. However, I became very sick--not due to detox. As a result, I had to break it. So I am wondering, if I would be doing any harm to myself if I tried raw agave nectar insted of maple syrup. Thank you, Michele

I am finishing day 10 and feeling fine. I used agave for the first 7 days because of it's very low GI. I ran out after 7 days and had to switch to maple syrup. I got mine from Young Living. I assume it was "raw" but no indication in the product name. I much preferred it to maple syrup because there was no maple taste and I could taste the lemon or lime juice which I preferred to the maple taste. In the absence of information indicating that agave is not good for this diet, I would use it again for the whole time. I think I had good results although this is my first time so I have no comparison except that the last few days were no different except for the maple taste.

I used raw agave as well my last time around since it has a low glycemic index and nice mild taste. I had good results with it.

very interesting.
I brought this up in this forum a while back and didn't hear anything back.
great news.
But I'm wondering what the nutritional content of Agave is? does anyone know?
If so, maybe you could post the link or copy/past the info.
thanks.
I might use it this flush at leaast alternate with the maple as I am hypoglycemic.
