Raw Chocolate? Help?

I purchased a bag of raw cocoa beans...I don't know what to do with them. They are very bitter on their own...ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Are they called, "Cocoa Nibs" perhaps? I eat them raw. My favorite is dark chocolate.

You can however, grind them with a rolling pin until they get mushy, chocolately and then mix the paste with a bit of - water add some agave nectar and a sprinkle of hot chili powder , heat it up and drink it as the original hot cocoa and heal yourself. <-- really, it's medicinal. Every time I eat chocolate I call it medicine. :) There's a recipe online somewhere, I just don't remember where. But kiss the person who gave those to you. :)
