Can someone tell me why you have to have orange juice or grapefruit juice after your cleanse? I was wanted to just juice (carrot juice, etc.) for a couple of days after I am done. (I'm only on day 3). Do you think this is okay?

I don't see a problem with it. Personally, I couldn't stomach drinking OJ for one whole day, certainly not two days.

I've read on the posts that it has to be a FRUIT juice. Definitely not a vegetable juice right away.

I dunno....I have different views...which maybe I should keep to myself...but I never have so why start now, right? ;)

Fruit juices are loaded with sugar which the body has a hard time with... Veggie juices can do a Roto-Rooter job on your intestines if you don't build up to them. So mix em! Then water it down a bit...then get on Green Smoothies! Oh I found one I don't dread and even like (except for the texture which I'll never get over).

Everything in moderation....(why not just eat the orange slowly?) Notice I'm ducking here as I say this.

I ate oranges and grapefruits slowly. I peeled the membrane off and chewed until it was liquid "juice". I wasn't worried about the pulp because there was pulp in my lemonade. It worked for me. Just remember to chew SLOWLY. and take your time. I did 1/2 and orange or 1/4 grapefruit every hour.

OH, 1/2 an orange every hour sounds so much better than OJ. I just might try that. :)
